The Institute for Technology & Society (ITS) invites annually researchers, students, and professionals to enroll in the ITS Global Policy Fellowship Program.

The program is in its 10th edition and has already received 57 fellows from countries around the world with a common interest: Technology and its relations with Law.

Fellows have the opportunity to work with the team that created the Marco Civil da Internet (Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet), a law that promotes protection of fundamental rights on the internet, including privacy, net neutrality, and freedom of speech.

Fellows also choose one of four fields to develop their research during the program:

Rights and Technology: content moderation, personal data protection, artificial intelligence, privacy, intellectual property, digital identity, and connectivity;

GovTech: new development models, distributed technologies, economic and social processes, and Digital Public Infrastructures (DPI);

Democracy and Technology: disinformation, civic engagement, AI & Climate, online participation, future of work, technodiversity, and more.
