Trustable Technology
A Trustmark for the Internet of Things (IoT)
The Internet of Things (IoT) is becoming increasingly integrated into our daily lives — from the moment we wake up to the sleep-monitoring apps we rely on. But how can we ensure that the devices we use are trustworthy? The Trustable Technology mark allows companies to demonstrate that their connected devices are safe and reliable, while also empowering consumers to make informed choices.
This trustmark is designed for companies that are at the forefront of secure technology and user rights. It signals a company’s commitment to high standards of reliability, helping consumers confidently choose the devices they incorporate into their lives.
The initiative is organized by ThingsCon, supported by the Mozilla Foundation, and in partnership with the Institute for Technology and Society of Rio de Janeiro (ITS Rio). Want to know more? Visit the official website at https://trustabletech.org/
