The Institute for Technology and Society (ITS) invites researchers, students, and professionals to apply for the ITS Global Policy Fellowship Program 2024. The Program is currently in its 8th edition and has previously welcomed 30 fellows from several countries who share a common interest: technology and its interfaces with Law.
The selected candidates will be able to choose one of our three primary areas of knowledge to develop their research:
– Rights and Technology (content moderation, personal data protection, artificial intelligence, privacy, digital identity and connectivity);
– GovTech (new development models, distributed technologies, economic and social processes);
– Democracy and Technology (misinformation, civic engagement, online participation, future of work, technodiversity and others);
The ITS Global Policy Fellowship Program 2024 is a unique opportunity for those interested in expanding their knowledge about the Brazilian technological context. From December 1st, 2023 until November 30th, 2024, Brazil will host the G20, so it will be an opportune time to be in Brazil and contribute to the discussions. The Institute’s team has prepared an intensive four-week program, which includes a series of meetings with ITS partners in Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, and São Paulo.
