The Institute for Technology & Society (ITS) invites researchers, students, and professionals to apply for the ITS Global Policy Fellowship Program 2026. Now in its 10th edition, the program has hosted nearly 60 fellows from various countries, all sharing a common interest: technology and its intersections with law.

Selected candidates will be able to choose one of our three main areas of work to develop their research:

– Rights and Technology: content moderation, personal data protection, artificial intelligence, privacy, intellectual property, digital identity, and connectivity;
– GovTech: new development models, distributed technologies, economic and social processes, and Digital Public Infrastructures (DPI);
– Democracy and Technology: disinformation, civic engagement, AI & Climate, online participation, future of work, technodiversity, and more.

The ITS Global Policy Fellowship Program 2026 offers a unique opportunity for people interested in deepening their understanding of the Brazilian technological landscape.

The ITS team has prepared an intensive four-week program, which includes a series of meetings with ITS partners in Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, and São Paulo.

Meet the fellows from previous years.
