ITS Rio developed the privacy terms of “Login Cidadão”, an initiative from the government of the state of Rio Grande do Sul that unifies various private citizens’ databases administered by the government. The main goal of the project was to guarantee that civil rights were protected while innovation and new governance models emerged. The project will be used as a model to collection, treatment and processing of data as well as the management of governmental databases.

The selection for this project was realized by the World Bank.
