The Charter of Human Rights and Principles for the Internet covers the rights encompassed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other documents from the United Nations Human Rights Charter. It is the result of a large team of people and organizations and its applicability is growing as more stakeholders use the principles. In 2011, the Internet Rights and Principles Coalition has launched the Ten Punchy Principles, a compilation of ten guiding principles to the Charter. This brochure contains both documents.
The Portuguese version of the Charter was translated by ITS Rio.
