In collaboration with the Brazil Institute at the Wilson Center and the RadicalxChange Foundation, we hosted the “Plurality” event in June, featuring the launch of the book Plurality. The event gathered leading contemporary thinkers to share perspectives on emerging technologies and innovation, including Audrey Tang, former Digital Affairs Minister of Taiwan, and Glen Weyl, founder of the Collaboratory for Plural Technologies at Microsoft Research. This exchange resulted in a report capturing the critical policy discussions.

In today’s fast-evolving digital landscape, full of challenges, addressing issues such as technological sovereignty, disinformation, and polarization is essential. The exchange of experiences and insights is crucial to fostering innovative solutions.

The report Plurality: Technology and the Future of Democracy offers insights structured around three main themes: Disinformation, Technological Autonomy, and Participation. Each section explores specific challenges raised by the participants, providing practical recommendations for promoting a more resilient digital infrastructure.
