Online course

CopyrightX is a three-month long free online course: from January 23 to April 24.It is the result of Harvard’s partnership with ITS Rio and UERJ. The course is taught by Professor William Fisher of Harvard Law School, professors of UERJ and ITS Rio.

The purpose of the course is to explore contemporary copyright issues in the US, Brazil, and worldwide. The course is offered annually with two weekly online classes. One of the classes is taught by Professor William Fisher of Harvard Law School and the other class is live online, taught by UERJ Law School and ITS Rio’s faculty members, including Ronaldo Lemos, Sérgio Branco and Carlos Affonso Pereira, all with extensive research in the area of intellectual property.

Students have the opportunity to take a final exam to receive a certificate by Harvard Law School.
