ITS Rio’s team is responsible for developing and enhancing the use of Creative Commons in Brazil. For over a decade, our team has promoted Creative Commons as the ideal form of licensing to explore opportunities brought by digital technologies. This licensing is comprehensive in the sense that it allows for creative pieces to circulate, reach the greater public possible and inspire the creation of new works – always complying with the limits determined by the author of that intellectual creation.
ITS Rio’s team constantly participates in national and international events about copyright law and forms of licensing and publishes in these fields.
