SpamDoc: Porta 25 TCP/IP
Brazil was the world champion in spam before the CGI’s initiative.
ITS Rio supported the Brazilian Steering Committee (CGI.br) in the production of an article and a video which document the action against spam in the country, highlighting the closing of Porta 25 TCP/IP. The multi-sector decision-making process was analysed involving the creation of relevant public policies for Internet management in Brazil. The results of the project were generated by a series of interviews with relevant actors in the field.
