In compliance with the mission of analyzing the legal changes that impact technological applications in society, ITS Rio presents a technical note on the topics addressed on draft law no 2927/2020 (Chamber of Deputies) and draft law no 2630/2020 (Federal Senate), which intend to institute the Brazilian Law of Freedom, Responsibility and Transparency on the Internet with tools to combat disinformation.

Understanding that the proposal, as it stands, needs important adjustments and puts at risk the Brazil Internet Bill of Rights (Marco Civil da Internet), ITS is available for contribution in this debate, presenting this technical note available for download and future additional proposals.
