Every year, Internet and its applications are more present in the lives of Brazilians. With more than half of the population connected, recent research made evident the progress of mobile internet (accessed mainly through mobile phones) and the intense use of social media in the country. This diagnosis is reflected on legal issues that transformed 2016 into an important year to the consolidation of the debate on Digital Law.
The blockage of apps, limitations on broadband data and the right to be forgotten are topics directly related to the scenario of internet expansion in the country and the solutions for these dilemmas will be a determining factor to the future of the network available to Brazilians.
